Does MyBoy include games?
No. Obtain your own game files separately. The developer does not include games with the emulator.
Can I play GB, GBC, or Nintendo DS games?
MyBoy is for Game Boy Advance. The developer offers My OldBoy for Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Nintendo DS games require an emulator for that system.
Which files are supported?
The developer FAQ lists .gba, .bin, and .zip. MyBoy loads a recognized game from a ZIP archive; password-protected archives are not supported by the described workflow.
Is a BIOS file required?
The developer lists high-level BIOS emulation, so a separate BIOS file is not required for normal use.
Why does a game fail to load?
Check that it is a complete GBA file. Disable cheats and automatic state loading if a previously working game stops opening. A mismatched code or damaged state can interfere with startup.
How do I save progress?
